Bulk and cost

What is bulk?

Bulk determines carry capacity by size & weight in a single unit.
Each item will have it’s own bulk figure which investigators can use to determine whether they are able to carry the item in one hand, two hands or whether they will need a way of moving the object.

Item cost

As ‘Haunted: Beyond the veil’ is set within the real world but not set to a single country or continent we have created a single currency called ‘Universal credits’ or ‘UC’ for short. We have also tried to keep the ‘real world’ costing of items as much as possible.

Fantastical equipment (Expansion add-on)

Having access to equipment that is just not possible within the real world can add that little extra bit of fun to your ‘Haunted’ game sessions.
We have plans to release ‘The SPS hidden vaults’ expansion which will include lots of new equipment for your character to play with.

Evidence gathering

In order to capture evidence of the paranormal you are going to need technology!
Unfortunately telling people what you saw or heard is not going to be enough evidence of the paranormal event you witnessed.

What you will need is:

  • Photographic evidence
  • Recorded audio or EVP (Electronic voice phenomenon)
  • Video footage

Each of these types of evidence capture can be graded for authenticity and will result in “reward and reputation”.
